Schedule
Night shifts: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

Job Description
The Free Standing Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations. The RN will manage critical emergency situations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to standards of care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care to patients, including adults and pediatrics, in a free-standing ER setting.

Perform critical assessments and triaging of incoming patients.

Administer medications, IV therapy, and other emergency interventions as required.

Operate and interpret diagnostic equipment, such as ECG and arterial blood gas analysis.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute individualized care plans.

Document patient care in the Epic charting system accurately and promptly.

Manage complex cases such as CVA (Cerebrovascular Accidents), trauma, and acute medical emergencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of general emergency experience (adult/peds required).

Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS (from AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC.

Preferred certifications: CPI, NRP.
