To maintain adequate inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment in the storeroom and patient care areas.

Enters receipts into the computer system, updating inventory, acknowledging incoming purchase orders.
Inventory, pick and deliver all supplies for the user departments according to pre-established par levels. Remove outdated supplies from storage areas and dispose of.
Compares computer balances with periodic sampling checks of physical inventory by set cycle counting dates and makes adjustments to inventory balances accordingly.
Works with department head and buyers to coordinate requisitioning, ordering, and distribution of supplies and equipment; controls the ordering and requisitioning process to ensure inventory levels of supplies are in keeping with usage. Checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destinations and routing are correct.
Knowledge of equipment within the department.
Knowledge of medical supplies.
Knowledge of computer board.
