Day 4x10-Hour Shift (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical nursing care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves preparation and coordination of surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures by performing circulating nurse duties.

Manage patient care throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Maintain accurate records and documentation as per facility guidelines.

Coordinate with surgical teams and provide support in pediatric, orthopedic, GYN, vascular, urology, and neurology surgery specialties.

Respond to emergencies and provide effective care in urgent situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Valid RN license in Florida or a compact state.

BCLS certification is required.

Prior experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.

Strong surgical skills in areas such as abdominal surgeries, orthopedic procedures, and robotic surgery.
