RN / Perioperative Nursing Job in D

Providing specialized perioperative nursing care within the operating room, the RN ensures patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes by supporting surgeons and healthcare teams. This role requires recent surgical experience and adherence to safety standards.
Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for various surgical procedures.
Assist surgeons during surgeries, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring proper equipment handling.
Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures, responding to fluctuations promptly.
Document all perioperative nursing activities accurately and comprehensively.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Comply with all safety, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
Hold a valid RN license with active state certification.
Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in perioperative or operating room nursing.
Demonstrate expertise in robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, gynecology, and prostate biopsies.
Exhibit strong clinical skills in GYN, plastics, and prostate procedures.
Have the ability to work flexible hours, including major and minor holidays.
