Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Yakima, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 15 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nights Location not specified. This role involves providing advanced critical care to patients experiencing conditions such as congestive heart failure, respiratory distress, acute coronary syndrome, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, diabetes mellitus, blood product administration, and post-cardiac catheterization support. The position requires clinical expertise in managing complex patient types, including surgical, vascular, abdominal, and gastrointestinal cases, with familiarity in monitoring femoral arterial sheaths and other vascular access devices. Job Details Position Description: SimpliFi Clinical Interview and Unit Final Approval required for this ICU role. Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and at least 2 years of ICU experience. Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Special Skills: Experience with above and below patient types, chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, and monitoring femoral arterial sheaths. Preferred skills include Art line, Impella, and/or intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) experience. Patient Types Managed:?? CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, bipap, CVA overflow, post-cath patients, and vascular surgical patients. Additional Responsibilities: Will see TR bands and femoral approach patients; some surgical patients may require vascular access management. Shift Times: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM.
