We are looking for a Grill Cook for our Peachtree Location.
As the backbone of the kitchen, you are responsible for preparing ingredients that make gusto! You will cut, chop, slice, label, date, and store food items while following gusto! food preparation standards. The Grill Cook must be respectful and professional and highly adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Prep all recipes according to gusto! Wash designated food products in Antimicrobial fruit and vegetable treatment
Store, label, and rotate all food items
Ensure the kitchen, equipment, and all food storage areas are organized, cleaned, sanitized, and maintained according to company and health department standards
Follow all food safety guidelines
Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards including wearing non-slip shoes and cutting gloves
Operate large-volume kitchen equipment such as grill, deep-fat fryers and other large kitchen equipment
Be comfortable standing for an entire shift and occasionally lifting items no heavier than 53 lbs
Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as required
Must be at least 18 years old
Food prep experience preferred but not required
