Job TitleThe role involves influencing, leading, monitoring, and approving contractor design and product/quality assurance efforts to meet contractual requirements for various subsystems.Key responsibilities include:Leading efforts related to the Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) and missile, reentry, and guidance subsystems.Supporting technical and systems engineering efforts for the development of the D5 Trident II Guidance Program.Ensuring compliance with approved Configuration Management processes for the weapons system's configuration control.Implementing program policy and engineering criteria, providing information to the prime contractor and Navy field activities.Reviewing and dispositioning discrepant and non-conforming hardware and software that may affect SWS performance.Providing technical guidance to DCMA for all phases of SSP programs, assisting DCMA as required, and ensuring proper information and advice on all relevant matters.
