Position Overview:
As a CAD Technician you will be responsible for preparing fabrication and installation drawings of underground storage systems and other structures to be fabricated using Lanes pipe products.
Essential Responsibilities:

Develop standard product drawings for internal and external use
Prepare and coordinate drawing submittals under the direction of the Sales Representative and/or Engineer
Evaluate underground storage system configurations for more cost-effective layout and increased ease of fabrication
Prepare drawings for special projects from concept to fabrication
Review engineering drawings prior to release
Perform accurate take offs from plans/drawings
Assist with quote development
Maintain thorough knowledge of Lanes products, product information, and specifications
Active participant in CAD workload group to workshare across the company
Position reports to Plant Manager
Must be able to interact with multiple entities inside and outside the organization (i.e. Sales Representatives, Engineers, Contractors, and other CAD Technicians

Requirements
Requirements:

Minimum 2 Years of CAD design and drafting experience
Proficient in AutoCAD
Knowledge of design and engineering principles (i.e. ability to read plan drawings)
Highly detail-oriented
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Associate degree or equivalent
Must be able to pass physical and drug test
The base pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $29/hr.
Compensation details: 24-29 Hourly Wage
