Position Highlights
- $335K base salary
- $250K sign-on bonus

- 7 on / 7 off schedule (10-hour days)
- 100% inpatient - no clinic responsibilities
- Manageable caseload (~16 patients)
- Teaching opportunities with psychiatry residents, medical students, NP and PA programs
- Full benefits including CME, malpractice, retirement, PTO, and health coverage
Practice Details
- 38-bed Child & Adolescent Inpatient Program (average census ~32)
- Units serving ages 8-17
- Average length of stay: 8-10 days
- Common diagnoses: ADHD, depressive disorders, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, ODD, adolescent substance use
- Admissions primarily from regional emergency departments
Team-Based Care
Work alongside a strong multidisciplinary behavioral health team, including:
Nurses & Mental Health Associates
Social Workers & Counselors
Psychologists
Discharge Planning Team
Medical Consult Services
All staff are trained in CPI de-escalation and safety protocols, with security support and systems designed to maintain a safe care environment.
Call Schedule
- 1 night per week
- 1 in 6 weekends
- Daytime on-call coverage for ED referral screenings and urgent inpatient needs
