Price Industries Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Winder, GA. This position will oversee and lead all procurement activities for Price Industries, ensuring materials, equipment, and services are sourced at the right cost, quality, and delivery to support production and operational goals. This is a hands-on leadership role where the Purchasing Manager will also function as a working buyer, directly managing purchasing activities while mentoring and training new buyers on systems, processes, and supplier management. Responsibilities include developing and implementing purchasing strategies to support production, engineering, and corporate goals. The Purchasing Manager will serve as a working buyer, handling daily procurement activities, placing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and ensuring timely material availability. They will also train, coach, and develop new buyers, with a focus on IFS ERP system proficiency and best practices in purchasing. The role involves managing supplier relationships, performance, and contracts to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The Purchasing Manager will negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term agreements with key vendors. They will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to forecast demand and align purchasing plans with production schedules. Additionally, they will identify and qualify new suppliers to reduce risk and improve supply chain resilience. The Purchasing Manager will monitor inventory levels, lead times, and material shortages; They will drive cost savings and process improvements through supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. The Purchasing Manager will prepare reports and KPIs for leadership, highlighting purchasing performance, cost savings, and supplier risks.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). The candidate should have 7+ years of progressive purchasing/supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong negotiation and contract management skills are required. Hands-on buyer experience with strong ERP knowledge (IFS experience strongly preferred) is essential. We are the leading provider of non-residential air distribution products across North America.
