Description
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans as the foundation for recovery
Implement and administer targeted physical therapy interventions aimed at mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal recovery outcomes
Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, essential discharge planning, and home exercise protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress while adhering to facility and regulatory standards
Engage in interdisciplinary care team discussions to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care
Education
~ A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
Current CPR certification is preferred
Specialized certifications in fields such as neurology or geriatrics are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
Previous clinical experience is strongly preferred
Expertise in treating patients with complex medical and mobility issues
