Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-acuity, high-pace environment
Preferred: 5+ years in high-risk obstetrics (candidates with 3+ years may be considered)
Must have current supervisory references (charge/supervisory references required)
BLS and NRP certifications required
Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
Experience in electronic fetal monitoring
Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide care during labor and delivery, including assisting with high-risk deliveries and C-sections
Act as a baby nurse, performing newborn assessments and care until transfer to postpartum
Circulate in the operating room during C-sections, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
Manage high-risk antepartum and postpartum care, including medication drips and hemorrhage management
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and address abnormalities appropriately
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Compliance / Notes:

Must commit to working every other weekend and 3 of 5 major holidays
Floating to postpartum and antepartum may be required
Must request all scheduling requests up-front with submittal
Background checks do not accept Nursys or BG hits
Completion of modules pre-start and annually is required
