Production Material Handler to start immediately

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Sussex, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Material Handler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Ensure continuous production operation of packaging lines and follow company's safety, quality and production procedures
Ensure all proper paperwork and materials are used, including pallets, slip sheets, WIP paperwork, and finished skid labeling paperwork is documented accordingly
Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards
Operate the forklift safely and efficiently and in accordance with plant forklift rules and regulations
Perform safety checks on the forklift; log and report any safety discrepancies with the Production Supervisor
Maintain a safe and clean environment for all team members, and make the Production Supervisor or lead aware of any equipment or personnel safety issues immediately
Follow all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out program
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Lean Initiatives as set forth by management
Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping
Maintain an accurate and detailed operator's log
Material Handler Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 6-12 months of sit-down forklift experience is a must
Production experience preferred
Proven problem-solving ability and good time management skills
Experience working both independently and as part of a team
Basic math and computer skills desirable
Able to stand or sit for an 8-hour (or more) shift
Able to handle frequent twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending
Good hand dexterity and eyesight for visual inspection of part
Must be able to drive a sit-down forklift and use a pallet jack
Able to lift up to 60 pounds
