PhaseWell Research is seeking a dynamic and people-focused HR Generalist to join our team. This is a true generalist role with broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle - with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition - alongside benefits and retirement plan administration, total rewards, and culture-building initiatives. The ideal candidate is equal parts hands-on administrator and strategic partner, passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience.
Talent Acquisition

Assist with full-cycle talent acquisition.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, build job descriptions, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, etc.).
Ensure compliant, consistent, and bias-aware hiring practices.
Manage onboarding and new-hire orientation to set employees up for success from day one.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity.
Support performance review cycles and documentation.
Benefits and Retirement Plan Administration
Administer group benefits and retirement programs.
Assist with open enrollment, new-hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations.
Assist in maintaining pay structures, job levels, and internal equity.
Help develop and communicate the total rewards value proposition to employees and candidates.
Contribute to annual merit, bonus, and compensation review processes.
Employee Experience, Culture & Engagement
Administer engagement surveys, analyze results, and partner with leadership on action plans.
support employee relations matters with discretion and empathy.
HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Prepare HR reports and analytics for leadership as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3-5 years of progressive HR generalist experience
• Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition
• Hands-on experience administering benefits and retirement plans
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
• High degree of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
