Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Registered Nurse
Shift: Day Shift
Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5 PM
Preferred acute care facility experience
Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Collects relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation.
Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Collaborates with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
Directly provides health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Commits to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients.
Requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter.
