Due to Critical Access guidelines, 1 unit is designated for observation patients and the other unit is designated for inpatient status patients. Med/surg nurses and PCTs float between both units. Diagnoses and nursing care remains the same for both. Special Equipment : - #Tier2 Travel Compliance Required for Submission : Confirm housing has been reviewed and secured (or can be secured) for the assignment location. Provide 2 3 interview availability windows with submission. Up to 5 non-holiday RTO days may be auto-approved. Candidate must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Required certifications must be included based on the job/unit description. Previous permanent or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler. Floating is required for all travelers and may include floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities. Local candidates are accepted for all specialties except OR RN. OR RN candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Start / Facility Instructions Compliance Requirements: Lab appointment, DocuSign documents, and badge photo must be completed within 1 week of contract signing. Allied clinicians in roles that do not require licensure at submission must arrive 3 business days prior to start for fingerprinting. Up to 16 hours of modules are non-billable. Orientation Day 1 Expectations: The first day of the assignment is a virtual, at-home orientation day.
