OR RNJob Title: OR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7a-3:30p Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Experienced RNs will possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care is essential. Ability to assess patient's needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects is required. License: Current NYS RN license Certifications: BLS required ACLS preferred Must-Have: Must recognize safety issues to self and others. Possess good, creative, problem-solving skills. May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. Knowledge in the use of typical clinical equipment utilized in providing a safe and/or aseptic environment in an OR setting is necessary.
