Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
Administering respiratory therapies to patients across various service lines, including Adult and NICU/Pediatric units
Operating equipment such as GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for patient care in critical care units
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records using Cerner EMR
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
North Carolina Respiratory License
RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
NRP certification preferred
