CMA - Immediate Care

Sapphire Rehabilitation at Goshen, a premier long term skilled nursing facility located in Orange County, New York has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA's for all shifts to become part of our dedicated and professional staff. Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. All new CNA's hires in the nursing department will get a sign on bonus of $600.00 (paid in quarterly installments after successful completion of 90 day probationary period).
Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
Ambulates and transports residents.
Weighs residents.
Documents on flow sheets.
Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
Makes beds and keeps resident's units clean and in order.
Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.

Current NYS CNA Certification Required.
Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.
