Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Sierra Vista, Arizona.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring AZ or compact RN license and 2+ years of interventional cardiology experience.Details\n \n Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 90-bed hospital setting\n Adult patient population undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures\n Cath lab staff also covers stress testing, TEE, and tilt table procedures\n Occasional IR procedures including vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube placement\n Uses GE fluoroscopy equipment, transitioning to CHANGE for hemodynamics\n Cerner EHR system used\n Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM\n Every other weekend required\n On-call responsibilities required, with call requirements exceeding 12 days\n IR float required\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required\n AHA certifications required, including BLS\n RRT or RCIS certification required\n Minimum 2 years of experience required\n Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures required\n Experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care preferred\n Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration\n Active license verification via Nursys required at time of consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Provide nursing care for patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures, primarily for coronary artery disease\n Team player mindset valued within the cath lab team\n Hospital-provided scrubs\n Facility located in Sierra Vista, AZ, in the San Pedro River Valley near Tucson\n Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate\n Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted\n Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-752121.
