Production Order Puller (Full-Time)

POS Professional Office Services is a national healthcare communications company headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa with production facilities throughout the country. Our products and services include print, digital communications and healthcare communication technologies to help practices engage with patients. Our multi-channel communication offerings include customized, branded patient and practice collateral, electronic messaging via phone, text and email, and robust patient billing and payment systems to make it easy for patients to pay and for practices to collect money.

We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time position of Shipper at our production facility in Waterloo, IA.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Shipping product each day including opening up, shutting down, and running reports.

Responsible for consolidating stock items to be picked.

Prepare outgoing shipments to other facilities and vendors using an interbranch order.

Complete tasks in an efficient, effective, and safe manner with minimal errors.

Input information into the computer such as location transfers, cycle counts, customer order comments, and pick/ship queues.

Read and understand work orders and process for completion. Product line, quantity, shipping instructions, and other specifications and operations dictate next steps for completion.

Responsible for inventory control and cycle counts of 480 products.

Secondary operations on a regular basis.

Desired Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Requires using measuring instruments along with good mathematical skills.

Previous shipping/receiving experience helpful.

Previous printing and/or production experience helpful with mechanical aptitude helpful.

Paper knowledge helpful such as carbonless vs. bond is helpful.

Have basic computer skills.

Must be able to read and write and follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Able to walk and stand 95% + of the time.

Work hours will be: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Starting base hourly rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
