Senior Environment Artist (Remote)

Leading environment art for a flagship project, the remote Staff Environment Artist will create high-quality realtime environments in Unreal Engine, optimize performance, and collaborate with various teams while owning pipelines and setting standards.

Key responsibilities

Create high-quality realtime environments in Unreal Engine, including modular palettes and shaders

Optimize environments for performance while maintaining visual fidelity and collaborate with the level designer to enhance gameplay

Engage in team brainstorming and feedback sessions, and participate in building a world-class environment art team as it grows

Required qualifications

6+ years of professional realtime environment art experience in first- or third-person AA-AAA games

Multiple shipped titles as an environment artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating production-quality environments

Deep familiarity with Unreal Engine workflows, including material and shader workflows

Experience with modular environment construction and optimizing scenes for performance

Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color, and spatial storytelling
