Facility Location: 3700 Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY 13850 * CANNOT Change Shift OR add RTO Once Offered! * Start Date: Start dates are every 2 weeks due to orientation schedule Shift: 8hr Shifts, 5 days per week - Nights CANNOT CHANGE SHIFT ONCE OFFERED - NOC shift is slower paced - 12s have to be approved by staffing first. Ratios: 1:18-20 - 300 bed facility Years of Experience REQ: 1 year plus of LTC / Skilled Nursing experience • Alzheimer's & Dementia Patient population First-Timers Accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required upon center request Certs REQ: BLS Will this traveler need to float between like units?: N/A Open to accommodating block schedule?: N/A Locals Accepted: Yes LICENSE: Must have NY State License - NO LICENSE HITS ALLOWED ***MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION*** RTO Restrictions: RTO ONLY APPROVED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. WILL NOT APPROVE AFTER OFFERED. Cannot take every holiday off **ANY CALL OUTS MUST BE GIVEN WITH AMPLE NOTICE, MORE THAN 24hrs PRIOR** Compliance takes 1.5-2 weeks Requirements: Active license (state) Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required Must be able to pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation Strong attendance and punctuality required Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Perform medication passes accurately and safely Monitor and report changes in resident condition Complete timely and accurate documentation Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies Supervise CNAs on assigned units Qualifications & Skills: Organized and detail-oriented Excellent communication skills Personable and professional demeanor Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and personalities Team player with a positive attitude Additional Requirements: Must be dependable with consistent attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be flexible with scheduling needs Modules : Once your offer is accepted, the client will send Relias module access via email within 48 hours.
