Introduction An established small animal hospital in Peoria, Arizona is looking to welcome a full-time Associate Veterinarian to its growing three-doctor team. Working Hours / Rota This is a full-time opportunity within a structured and reliable schedule. The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday to Friday from 7:20 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with Sundays closed. The rota offers consistency while maintaining a manageable weekend commitment, supporting both continuity of care and personal balance. Role Description and Responsibilities In this role, you will deliver high-quality medical and surgical care to companion animals while fostering strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, diagnosing and managing medical cases, performing routine and soft tissue surgeries, and guiding pet owners through preventative care plans tailored to each patient. A proactive approach to communication, attention to detail in case management, and a commitment to evidence-based medicine are central to success in this position.
