Manufacturing Engineering Systems Support

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.Navy weapon system. We are seeking an Engineer with hands on SSBN Strategic Weapons System (SWS) expertise to inform and collaborate with our Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team. The MBSE team utilizes modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions throughout the organization, to perform engineering analysis, and provide results to inform strategic decisions for operations. Understanding SWS operations and architectures
Reviewing the Descriptive System Model (DSM) for technical accuracy of model content
Prepare/validate data, perform and validate the modeling and analysis, effectively communicate findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with Leadership to oversee identification of MBSE efforts and provide input to help design, monitor, and improve new and existing systems using M&S.
Evaluate risks and needs impacting future M&S development and integration work.

BS and 6+ years Engineering experience
Experience or knowledge of SWS SSBN and/or SWS SSBN (R) submarine platforms
Demonstrated Self-Starter with organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
Willingness and ability to travel
Experience with Systems Engineering principles including requirements development, allocation, and analysis
Experience with broad array of engineering tools / languages including MATLAB Simulink, No Magic Products, PTC Windchill, IBM DOORS, 2D/3D CAD, SysML, and/or JAVA

Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
