Responsibilities This position is responsible for processing internal, incoming, and external referrals for Ambulatory services, procedures, and medications.

The Referral Coordinator will obtain prior authorizations, schedule patients, work inbound and outbound phone calls, and communicate with patients via online chat.

Will consider highly qualified applicants for hybrid or remote positions.

High School Diploma; Provides excellent customer service – manages difficult situations and responds promptly and completely.

Excellent teammate – provides and welcomes feedback, establishes and maintains effective professional relationships, works cooperatively, and offers professional assistance and support to co-workers.

Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Preferred Job Requirements Certified Medical Assistant.
