Our Graduate Nurse Residency Program is designed to help new nurses successfully transition from the classroom to professional practice. Through structured support, mentorship, and hands-on experience, you'll build the skills and confidence needed to thrive in your nursing career.

10,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment

Sacred Trust, Personal Reverence, Thoughtful Anticipation, Team Accountability and Creative Vitality ask more of us than merely completing some list of tasks. Must have a valid New Mexico Nursing license (GN license is accepted), Compact Nursing License, or proof of scheduled NCLEX testing date

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school within past eleven (11) months

Must meet the requirements for obtaining and maintaining life support certifications as outlined in the Life Support Certification policy

Must attend all scheduled monthly educational seminars and participate in data collection over a 12-month period

Will complete and present an Evidence Based Practice Project as a requirement for completing the residency program

Uses the Nursing Process to provide and monitor patient response to therapeutic interventions

Provides individualized patient care appropriate for the area of practice

Must demonstrate understanding and application of competencies as required by area of practice

Accountable for professional nursing practice

Responsive to current safety and quality initiatives and sustains improvement

Collaborates with patients/families and peers in the provision of patient care

Adheres to organizational and department policies and procedures and any applicable laws and regulations

Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions: Must be able to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance. Potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids and meets OSHA training requirements

Sets limits when dealing with angry, hostile, or sometimes verbally or physically abusive patients and families in an attempt to ensure a safe, respectful environment that will support the delivery of care.
