The technician is responsible for following all regulatory requirements, maintenance/calibration procedures, common safe mechanical guidelines and good housekeeping practices while performing their duties. Essential Duties:** • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate all laboratory equipment. • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of new equipment. • Assist in equipment and procedure validations. • Monitor and respond to the Environmental Monitoring System (EMS). • Program and install monitoring probes for EMS. • Regulatory Compliance** • Know and follow applicable regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.). • Know and follow company policies and procedures. • Complete required training on time. **Adhere to all policies and procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned**Competencies of this position** • Good verbal and written communication skills • Computer experience, Microsoft Office suites, EMS, etc. • Work Environment:** • This job operates in a professional office and laboratory environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, computer mouse, telephones, photocopiers, projectors, and file cabinets. • Typically works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting. • Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift.**Travel requirements:** Occasional travel during the business day. Some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.**Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and assist in moving heavy equipment, etc. • More than 75% of time spent walking, lifting, or working on equipment. • OR High School Diploma or equivalent. •
