Job Description
Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery (Contract)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 05:30 AM - 04:00 PM
Call Requirements: Approximately 2-4 call shifts every 4 weeks
On-call weekends: 0700 - 0700
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Surgery unit. The ideal candidate will have pre-op and post-op experience, as well as a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing various procedures.
Monitor patients' conditions and administer medication as required.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
Participate in on-call rotations as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
ACLS certification required.
Previous Outpatient Surgery unit experience preferred.
