Travel Nurse RN (Emergency Department)

TNAA TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN ED for a travel nursing job in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12 hour evening shifts, travel type employment.

Responsibilities

As an ER Travel Nurse you will

Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage and implement care according to procedures and physician instructions.

Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.

Document medical history and check for allergies.

Obtain patient vital signs and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.

Provide basic bedside care.

Clean and bandage wounds.

Provide IV therapy.

Maintain supplies and medical equipment.

Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, leaning, stooping, and lifting up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Excellent stress management and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

1–2 years recent acute care experience.

ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certification; additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Registered Nurse license (RN).

TotalMed Travel Job ID #1433378. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
