Clinical Engineering Tech II
The Clinical Engineering (CE) Tech II is responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned medical equipment. Performs various tasks associated with installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of clinical equipment with minimal supervision. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Full-time
Full understanding of medical equipment, human anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques to perform equipment repairs.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance procedures on medium risk equipment and a limited number of high-risk medical devices.
Possess the skill to utilize tools and test equipment required for job duties and responsibilities
Intermediate knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to medical equipment management.

3+ years' experience working as a Clinical Engineering Tech I, or equivalent, is required.

Associate of Applied Science Degree or completion of a Biomedical Technician Certificate Course is preferred. Experience in assigned medical equipment environment is preferred.
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
