Registered Nurse- Medical Surgery Oncology

Providing specialized nursing care within a Medical Surgical setting, the RN float will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across various units as assigned by the nursing supervisor. Administer comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing acute conditions.
• Document patient interactions and clinical interventions accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Float to assigned units such as Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, Oncology, Trauma, and Cardiology, adapting to different clinical environments.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and safety standards.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting.
• Proficient in Cerner EMR with prior experience using this documentation system.
• Ability to work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend.
