UPMC Rheumatology | Hanover, PA Position Highlights

Location: UPMC Rheumatology, 3130 Grandview Rd, Building B, Suite 2, Hanover, PA 17331

Schedule: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Day Shift

Practice Setting: Established outpatient rheumatology practice with two experienced rheumatologists

Call: Minimal call responsibilities with after-hours nurse triage support; shared equally among UPMC providers

Retirement Benefit: Employer-funded pension plan in addition to a 403(b)-retirement plan with 50% employer match

Opportunity

Join a thriving outpatient rheumatology practice and provide comprehensive care for adult patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include:

Evaluating and managing adult rheumatology patients in the ambulatory setting

Providing inpatient consultation support through telehealth and e-Consults

Performing office-based procedures, including joint injections

Opportunity to utilize in-office ultrasound for patient care, if desired

Call facilitated by nurse triage and shared equally amongst UPMC Providers

Candidate Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology

Fellowship-trained or graduating fellow eligible to practice in Pennsylvania

Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Ability to provide personalized, outcomes-focused care
