Operating Room RN
The Operating Room RN will provide surgical nursing care to patients in a busy, trauma-focused facility. This role involves scrub and circulating duties across multiple surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Assist surgeons during operative procedures by preparing the sterile field and handling surgical instruments.
Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgeries to ensure safety.
Maintain sterile technique and uphold infection control standards.
Document intraoperative data accurately within electronic medical records.
Collaborate with surgical technologists and other team members to facilitate smooth operations.
Adapt to float between units and support various surgical teams as needed.
Hold or pending possession of a South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.
Have a minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, strongly preferred.
Demonstrate scrub experience and proficiency in multiple surgical procedures.
Be flexible and adaptable to floating within scope and unit needs.
