We're looking for an experienced Industrial Painter who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a clean, organized, and team-oriented shop environment.

In this role, you'll prepare and apply industrial coatings to a variety of metal components, ensuring products meet strict quality and military specification (Mil-Spec) requirements. If you have experience with industrial spray equipment, surface preparation, and coating applications, we want to hear from you.

Prepare and paint aluminum, stainless steel, ferrous metals, and other materials using industrial coating systems.

Mix and tint paints, including epoxy, enamel, acrylic, and two-part coating systems.

Perform surface preparation including sanding, masking, media blasting, degreasing, and chemical etching.

Measure paint coverage and film thickness to verify quality standards.

Set up, clean, troubleshoot, and maintain painting equipment and spray systems.

Assist with rigging and moving large parts to ensure proper coating access and coverage.

Monitor paint and supply inventory to support uninterrupted production.

Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, efficient, and quality-focused work environment.

Industrial painting experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment.

Experience painting steel, aluminum, stainless steel, or other metal products.

Ability to operate industrial spray equipment and pressure pot systems.

Knowledge of coating application techniques and surface preparation processes.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Experience working with Mil-Spec coating requirements.

Familiarity with two-part epoxies and industrial coating products.

Experience calculating coverage rates and coating thickness requirements.

Clean, organized, and safety-focused facility.

Modern equipment and well-maintained tools.

This position is based in a modern, highly organized machine shop that manufactures power manifolds used in the hydraulic and dam power industries. You will primarily work within the paint department and paint booth, utilizing industrial spray equipment and coating systems in a structured, safety-focused environment. The team is known for its strong work ethic, positive culture, and commitment to producing high-quality products while supporting one another's success.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR.
