Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity 20-bed environment within the adult inpatient medical-surgical unit. The RN will monitor and assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (Compact) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Maryland state license or eligibility, 0 years of experience minimum

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-acuity inpatient setting or progressive care environment

Additional Information: This position requires a motivated RN capable of critical thinking, quick assessment, and effective communication. The unit emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, infection control, and ongoing professional development.
