Estimator (Estimator) Full-Time

For over 40 years, Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware has provided quality products and services in the commercial door and architectural specialties industry. We pride ourselves as the door-opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. Our family-owned and operated company is currently seeking an Estimator to join our team at our Dallas Location!

This position is scheduled Monday -Thursday 7am – 4:30pm and Friday 7am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime required.

Identify door and hardware products that give us a competitive advantage while still meeting the requirements of the project.

Efficiently communicate and work with customers, vendors, and architects to be sure we are providing the best solution to meet the project's needs.

Accurately input door, frame, and hardware info into estimating software (Comsense).

Provide a clear and precise proposal to the customer.

Follow-up on all bids to ensure the customer is happy with the scope and price.

Experience using industry-specific estimating software (Comsense or Pro-tech).

Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, positive and helpful demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
