Qualifications
Current California Licensure (CA LIC) in hand
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
S.T.A.B.L.E certification
Skills and Experience
Experience in Level 1 Nursery
Experience in Mother/Baby care
Experience in NICU Level III
Pediatrics and PICU experience is a plus
Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory
Unit Details
The unit primarily cares for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Nurses are expected to have a strong foundational experience in neonatal care.
Certification & Training Requirements
Candidates must complete Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses onsite within 30 days of their start date.
Course costs are: Fire Card ($50) and Assaultive Behavior Course ($80). Recruiters are advised to account for these costs as credentialing cannot reimburse the enrollment fees.

Floating and Unit Policies
Nurses may be required to float to different units as needed, in accordance with floating policies. Compliance with the standards set forth by The Joint Commission will be maintained.
