Job Title: Profee Neuro/Vascular Medical Coder

We are seeking an experienced Professional Neuro/Vascular Coder to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding complex neurovascular procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with official coding guidelines, payer requirements, and organizational standards.

Review and analyze clinical documentation for neurovascular procedures, including interventional radiology, neurosurgery, and vascular neurology cases.

Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with official guidelines and facility policies.

Perform charge capture and validate coding for correct reimbursement and compliance.

Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and revenue cycle team members to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of coding guidelines, payer rules, and neurovascular‑specific procedures.

Ensure coding meets quality and productivity standards.

Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and education initiatives as needed.

Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent certification required.

Minimum of 3 years of coding experience, with a focus on neurovascular and/or interventional radiology preferred.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to neurology and vascular systems.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Familiarity with coding compliance regulations and payer requirements.

100% Remote
