About the Opportunity:
Englewood Health is seeking a BC/BE Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join our established practice of 3 colorectal surgeons. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment that values innovation, integrity, and compassionate care.
The ideal candidate is skilled in both minimally invasive and open colorectal procedures as well as care of anorectal disease, and demonstrates a strong commitment to medical education, quality outcomes, interdisciplinary teamwork, and continued professional development.

What your day will look like
Diagnose and manage a wide range of benign and malignant colorectal conditions
Perform advanced surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and nursing staff
Participate in Disease Management Teams (DMTs), tumor boards, and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in education of residents and medical students
Contribute to clinical research
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC, the electronic medical record system
Provide on-call coverage
Qualifications:
MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited colon and rectal surgery fellowship program
Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery (must become BC within a five (5) year timeline per Medical Staff bylaws)
Valid New Jersey medical license (or eligibility for licensure)
DEA and NJ CDS registration
Current BLS & ACLS certification

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The salary shown reflects the minimum compensation; actual compensation considers specialty, relevant experience and training.
Minimum compensation: $350,000.00 annually
