Job Description:
Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Attorney with knowledge in Insurance Coverage. This is an exceptional opportunity to join our thriving legal team, where you will play a role in formulating insurance coverage advice and handling insurance coverage litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a background in litigation, analytical research, and an understanding of insurance law. This role requires at least 5-7 years of insurance coverage experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, claim handling, and dispute resolution.
Assist with a caseload of complex insurance coverage cases, and litigation claims.
Conduct thorough and analytical research to support legal proceedings and to provide strategic advice to clients.
Represent clients in litigation, mediation, and negotiations.
Analyze and review insurance policies and related documents.
Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance coverage, and other areas of law.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or insurance bad faith litigation.
Admission to WA State Bar. Admission to Oregon State Bar, a plus.
Exceptional analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
