Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) New GraduateThe Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) new graduate is an entry-level clinical role designed for new graduate respiratory therapists. Under the direction of a licensed physician and departmental leadership, the RCP new graduate provides basic respiratory care procedures and participates in the assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. This role supports safe, high-quality, and evidence-based care while progressing toward full licensure and independent practice.QualificationsEducation, experience, training:Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Eligible to sit for the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialing exams. Holds a Temporary Respiratory Therapist License from the Maine Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners. Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the AHA or ARC certification to be obtained three (3) months of hire. Achievement of CRT or RRT credential through NBRC within three (3) months of hire.Pay TransparencyCentral Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $25.00 to $27.35 per hour.
