In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Custom Equipment Group (CEG) with projects and routine Engineering tasks, such as: mechanical design of new equipment, documentation updates for provisional standards and preventative maintenance, new equipment assembly and design updates to current equipment.
You will join an Engineering team, comprised of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Technicians, to help support initiatives within CEG. You will gain an understanding of traditional mechanical engineering activities necessary to support production, while also being given responsibility to perform tasks that will help you build your own Engineering skillset. Ability to apply technical skills learned in school to real-world applications
Willingness to learn new skills, software, and procedures as they pertain to mechanical design and implementation
Opportunity for OT dependent on project needs and current business environment.
Access to your own workstation, including AutoCAD and Inventor software
Updates, including final presentation, to Engineering leadership
Pursuing degree in Engineering, or equivalent
Past intern experience helpful, but not required
