Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy, Full Time

As a Full-Time Phlebotomist, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Rio Rancho, NM.

*Schedule will be Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Works independently, in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures
Assists with supply inventory
May instruct phlebotomy procedure to new employees
Understands and abides by all of the BSFHC infection control guidelines and safety procedures; know location and use of MSDS material and use of emergency equipment
Current national certification (required for WA, CA and LA) in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not acceptable.
CPR (BLS for community/lay responder or Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer - the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include "hands on" evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. State Phlebotomy Tech Certification (CA, WA and LA)
Six months to one year phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment or satisfactory completion of an approved phlebotomy course and completion of 100 hours clinical experience
