Role Overview Apply deep procurement expertise to create realistic, expert-level procurement tasks and evaluation materials that train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on converting real-world procurement scenarios into high-quality inputs and grading criteria, helping models learn procurement reasoning without requiring prior AI experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design and author expert procurement tasks that reflect real-world complexity, including RFP drafting, bid evaluation, supplier scoring, and contract negotiation scenarios.

Source, create, and format realistic procurement artifacts such as supplier quotations, specification sheets, pricing tables, and technical documentation presented in multiple, inconsistent formats.

Produce defensible sourcing recommendations with clear, well-reasoned justifications that mirror sophisticated procurement decision making.

Develop comprehensive grading rubrics for use by AI grading agents, focused on accurate evaluation of vendor comparison, contract reasoning, and bid analysis.

Ensure scenarios and tasks capture the granular challenges of procurement in specialized categories such as IT, industrial, or professional services.

Provide clear, well-structured written and verbal explanations of task context, procurement challenges, and evaluation standards.

Collaborate with the project team to review, refine, and validate created tasks and rubrics for quality and relevance.

Apply your procurement domain knowledge to help train and improve AI systems through high-quality, real-world inputs.

Qualifications

Required skills: bid analysis, supplier evaluation, contract reasoning.

Minimum 4 years of proven experience in corporate or public-sector procurement, including direct responsibility for supplier analysis, bid matrices, and contract negotiation.

Demonstrated ability to analyze non-standardized vendor submissions and produce detailed comparison matrices.

Deep category knowledge in IT, industrial, or professional-services procurement to enable nuanced scenario creation and evaluation.

Exceptional written English, with the ability to author technical procurement documentation and clearly articulate contract rationale.

Strong foundation in procurement best practices, relevant regulatory frameworks, and supplier evaluation methodologies.

Experience creating or assessing complex procurement scenarios or benchmarks is a plus.

High attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables in technical contexts.

No prior AI experience required; domain expertise in procurement is the primary qualification.

Compensation Pay rate: $30.00 to $65.00 per hour.
