Production Machinist (Manufacturing)

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience

Machinist Job Description: Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, EDM equipment, and other machining tools to manufacture precision tooling and components

Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine programs using CAM software and Fanuc controls

Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings

Set up and maintain tooling, fixtures, jigs, and workholding devices for production operations

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs

Troubleshoot machining, programming, and tooling issues to minimize downtime

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tooling and machining equipment

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete fabrication and repair projects

Assist with assembly of machined components and support continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment

Machinist Job Requirements: Previous experience as a Machinist or similar precision machining role

Strong CNC programming experience, preferably with Fanuc controls

Proficiency operating CNC mills, CNC lathes, EDM machines, and CMM equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and mechanical drawings

Experience with CAD/CAM software, including SolidWorks or similar platforms

Knowledge of plastics injection molding tooling is preferred

Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
