This entry level position is responsible for assisting with the preparation of right-of-way plats, plans, legal descriptions, and related documents and drawings concerned with land acquisition and condemnation.
Assists with preparation of plats and plans and related documents.
Assures that all plats, legal descriptions, title work, and survey data are completed in a timely manner to minimize delays in processing excess land requests.
Current registration as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Illinois; OR completion of a bachelor's degree in land surveying from an accredited college or university PLUS successful completion of the Fundamentals of Surveying examination or Surveyor Intern license; OR completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related science including 24 semester hours of land surveying courses PLUS successful completion of the Fundamentals of Surveying examination or Surveyor Intern license.

Experience with surveying, engineering, construction, or other related fields.
Frequent statewide travel with some overnight stays.
