Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Weekend Shift

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assessing and administering medications to residents, reporting any changes to physicians, updating family members, and assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as necessary.
Essential Job Duties

Administer medications to residents while adhering to the 5 Rights of medication administration.
Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, and misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Notify the charge nurse of any changes in resident condition.
Assist CNAs with answering call lights and performing other duties as needed.
Provide updates to physicians and family members regarding changes in resident condition as required.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
Required Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• 1+ years of related work experience is preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Shift Information
This position is full-time during the PM shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the requirement to work every other weekend. Holiday coverage is also required.
Minimum Experience
Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable for this position.
Certifications/Requirements
Certification in BLS/BCLS is mandatory.
