Warehouse AssociateColliflower, Inc. is a customer-focused distributor of quality fluid connectors. We have been delivering superior quality hoses and fittings since 1951. We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Associate in our Opa-locka, FL location. The work hours for this position are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch). Our Warehouses are CLIMATE CONTROLLED all year around.The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all functions required to support supply chain activities in a Colliflower Warehouse or Hub location. Functions include but are not limited to receiving, storage, handling, shipping, and preparing of product for delivery. Colliflower's Warehouse Associates are self-directed, self-motivated, customer service-oriented individuals driven to maintain Colliflower's warehouse/hub locations in a safe and orderly fashion by providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.Processes request by pulling orders from printer/document bin, determines items to be gathered, and accurately pulls product from storageIdentifies and locates hose product/s as required; measure and safely cut to designated lengthFollows quality control procedures to verify and check all orders picked against customer invoices prior to shippingPrepares and expedites shipments – Assemble & pack product, affix shipping labels, and prepare all shipping documentsStages finished product order for shipping, delivery, or customer pick upRuns customer's payment for order as neededAssists with receiving products, unloading trucks, and stocking product in appropriate placeReconciles and records incoming product per standard and provide Accounting Dept. appropriate documentsCounts physical inventory as needed or directedEnsures that inventory records accurately reflect physical inventory – notifies appropriate individuals if discrepancies are foundProvides exceptional service and assists in all areas of the store as neededResponds positively to customer needs and resolve them efficientlyProduces high quality fitting & hose assembliesOrganizes and cleans warehouse/hub and work areasEnsures that the warehouse is clean, safe, accessible, and organizedAssist with van routes by packing products, and delivering to and from store locationsSafely drive to all store locations/customer sites and follow the rules of the roadEnsure that daily and regular maintenance of the van is kept up and completedReport any safety concerns or issues with vehicle to supervisor immediatelyProfessionally and efficiently communicate with other departments to better serve our customersOther duties as assignedEssential Knowledge and Experience:Experience preferred but not requiredAttention to detail - can identify product by size, type, style, or codeSolid reading skills – must be able to read and interpret documents such as product manuals, purchase orders, and procedure manualsBasic math skills and the ability to learn metrics & metric equivalentsGood oral & written communication skillsAbility to understand and execute instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formProficient computer skills and data entry experienceHave a mechanical aptitudeHigh School Diploma or equivalent educationValid Driver's LicensePhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours)Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull and climbManual Dexterity required for operating machineryWork Environment:Work performed in a shop/warehouse environment, with occasional outdoor exposure during the workdayRoutinely uses standard office equipmentExposed to several elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable (i.e., noise from equipment and temperature fluctuations depending on the season)May work at different workstations as production and shipping needs requireWe offer a total compensation package including: Competitive Pay, Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Life Ins., LTD, AD&D, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Vacation with no blackout days, Holidays, Discounts.Colliflower, is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.E-Verify & Right to Work | Equal Employment Opportunity | Family Medical Leave Act | Employee Polygraph Protection Act | Pregnancy Fairness Workers Act
