Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
Proficiency in Surgical, GI, GU, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, and Blood Bank procedures
Familiarity with Epic EMR documentation system
Ability to perform blood bank calls and interpret complex lab results
Certification or experience in cytopathology, specifically GYN cytology
Prior experience working in a hospital-based, CAP-accredited laboratory
Ability to collaborate seamlessly with a team of pathologists and laboratory technologists
MD or DO degree with valid medical licensure
Minimum of 3-5 years of pathology experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus
Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days; Ability to work day shifts, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with call responsibilities (1:7 ratio)
